My name is Harry van de Riet and I live in
Borne in the Netherlands.
My age is 61 years old. I have many hobbies and calligraphy is one of my
favorites.
I have been a calligrapher for about 25 years now.
Most things about calligraphy
I learned from books.
Looking at the ancient works made me think: That's what I want to do.
Nowadays I like to make more modern art as
well.
One of my favorite kinds of calligraphy is
Celtic art. The way people from thousand years ago made such fantastic works,
inspires me a lot.
A few years ago I put a part of my work on
the internet. The www is a splendid medium to share calligraphywork with other
people in the world. To see the work of others gives inspiration to much people.
